{\*\generator Msftedit 5.41.15.1515;}\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs20 Notes on the creation of an ADC module for GDW's The Battle of Guilford Courthouse\par
\par
First, some credits:\par
The game was produced by Mayfair Game in 1981. Design and development: James Griffin. System Design: Neil A. Zimmerer. Cover Art: Darch Clampitt.\par

Notable things:\par
\par
There are two ways to use ADC and the makers.\par
You can use ADC to track hit counts and whether a unit is routed or rallied. The piece values for all units are already defined.\par
\par
Or, you can do what the original game did, put a marker on top of the unit. Those markers are included and are in a pool. When a unit has taken 3 hits, you can flip the unit and see a reduced strength side.\par
\par
I didn't include the starting locations for units on the map. Instead, I just place the units themselves.\par
\par
I include two version of the rules. The original scanned file. Then a Word file that was created by a OCR with a little straightening up.\par
\par
\par
Things to come:\par
Then there are a couple of complicated projects: Rand's Saratoga, International Team's Yorktown (with a beautiful game map that assembles like a 5 piece jigsaw puzzle), and SPI's old American Revolution.\par
\par
There are several AR games I don't have: \cf1 Panzerfaust's Spirit of '76, SDC's Minuteman (in Conflict magazine), Jagdpanther's Battle of Cowpens (Magazine April 1973) and Game Theory and Design's War of Rebellion. I'd love to get copies of any of these.\par
